The meaning of the word Wadak

Wadak, which means tallow in Arabic, is one of the main ingredients in karkar, a cream used by Sudanese women for generations. This single ingredient is rich in nutrients, moisturizing, healing, non-comedogenic, and rejuvenating all at once! Its simplicity, richness, and versatility have made us fall in love. Just like wadak, our mission is to find other ingredients from nature that have multiple properties to help us live healthier.

Wadaka Alayka also means "I love you" in Arabic. Each of our products is crafted with love and compassion with the aim of reviving the ancient traditions of our ancestors. At Wadak, we strongly believe that every person possesses inner beauty and that with the richness of nature, we can help this innate beauty flourish. You don’t need to hide your imperfections under your foundation. These spots, redness, and irregularities are a mark of the vitality of your skin and the experiences of your body. Don’t cover it up with products whose ingredient names you can’t even pronounce. Our brand and our way of doing things

We design each of our products in-house by selecting high-quality natural ingredients. Each ingredient in your jar has its purpose due to its therapeutic properties. We do not add ingredients to fill the jar or any emulsifiers. This is often why our ingredient lists are minimalist. We do not use synthetic, toxic, or GMO ingredients.
